I think there'd be massive potential in a well-mached Launchpad + Launch Control combo being like a "Push 2 lite" with the benefit of not being tied down to Ableton and being useable for external gear. A real wild-card would be something like a touch strip which could be purposed as pitch/modulation seeing as that's lacking on the LPP. The knobs have a 'click' to denote the middle (64/217) and have the perfect resistance - firm but smooth. The quality of the build is unbelievable, especially for the asking price. Perhaps they could be done away with or just re-purposed easily. Obviously the LPPMKIII already has track arm and navigation, mute, solo etc. The Launch Control Xl from Novation is an incredibly versatile midi controller and is a powerful tool when used in combination with Ableton Live. You can find info in the downloadable manual for the blackbox, you can plug the XL into your windows/mac PC/laptop and use the Novation Launch Control.
